Frequently Asked Questions

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

Deliveries are made from around 8am-10:30am. Collections are made from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the spring and summer months, we do not hire out doors in the Winter. We deliver and collect on a geographical basis, but we try to be as flexible as possible. If you require specific delivery times please inform us at the time of your booking. We can accommodate exact delivery and collection times for indoor hall parties or if you are organising a school fete ect.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL?

Our inflatables are delivered on a sack barrow and we need an adequate clear access for this (approx 3ft depending on the inflatable ordered). Please ensure all paths or access to your garden is free from obstacles. We will need access to mains power electricity within 25 meters of where you would like the unit sited. Please prepare the site prior to our arrival. In the summer months we will be running a tight schedule to ensure all our customers are delivered to and collected from on time. We may not be able to wait whilst the access and or site is cleared and prepared.

WHERE CAN YOU PUT THE CASTLE?

For safety reasons any inflatable sited outdoors must be sited on a reasonably flat lawn (slight slopes are acceptable) so that it can be staked to the ground. The site area needs to be free from stones, sharp objects such as washing line pole sockets, dog mess, and excessive mud. If there are any overhanging trees or bushes encroaching on the site area of the inflatables, these will need to be pruned back prior to our arrival. The unit cannot be sited where any side of it is brushing up against bushes, trees, fences etc... A BBQ must not be sited within 10 feet of the inflatable. Please prepare the site prior to our arrival, in the summer months we will be running on a tight schedule to sure all our customers are delivered to and collected from on time. We may not be able to wait whilst the access and or site is cleared or prepared.

DO YOU BELONG TO ANY TRADE ORGANISATIONS?

Yes we are full members of the B.I.H.A (British Inflatable Hirers' Alliance).

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY INFLATABLE?

We advise to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We do however take bookings as late as the same day. If you need to make a last minute booking please call us we always try to help.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

We do not hire bouncy castles in the rain, however all bouncy castles have shower covers fitted in case the weather is not as forecast.

DO YOU FULLY INSTALL THE INFLATABLES?

We do everything for you. We deliver and fully install the inflatable and safety mats ready for use. We will give you a copy of our safety instructions and terms and conditions form for you to sign... We will collect and fully dismantle all equipment at the end of your booking.

WILL THE INFLATABLE GO IN A HALL?

If you phone and tell us the name of your indoor venue we will contact them to see which of our inflatables are suitable, we are familiar with most of the halls in our area and know which of our inflatables are suitable for them.

IF I NEED TO CLEAN THE CASTLE WHAT CAN I USE?

Our inflatables are thoroughly checked and cleaned prior to every hire. If it is necessary to clean any soiling prior to use collecting at the end of your hire then only hot soapy water (fairy liquid) can be used to clean the castle. Chemical cleaning agents must not be used. It is important to clean any marks made quickly. Face paints for example must be cleaned off immediately whilst it is still wet, if not the face paint will permanently stain the castle.

DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Our equipment is supplied under protection of a Public Liability Policy, which is subject to the terms and conditions of hire. You are responsible for supervision. We will provide safety instructions which are based on current HSE guidelines.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP?

It takes us approx 30 minutes to install or collect our equipment on which inflatable is ordered and ease of access.

CAN I COLLECT THE INFLATABLE FROM YOU?

No. We need to install and collect our inflatables ourselves for safety reasons and insurance constraints.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

All bookings require a £30 non refundable deposit in order to secure your booking. If there is no deposit in place there is no booking. If you need to cancel all money paid is non refundable, however, should you book any of our items for outside hire and the weather is unsuitable on the day then you are able to transfer your booking and deposit to another date of your choice. Also, should we turn up and be unable to set up safely for one reason or another through no fault of our own no deposits or money paid will be refunded due to the costs incurred to ourselves.
